The engineering and R&D firm, ALTRAN, currently developing projects in more than 12 countries, have just become joined the Spanish innovative cluster in railway mobility, RAILWAY INNOVATION HUB.
During the last 30 years, ALTRAN have provided their experience to key players in aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, finances, life sciences, railway and telecom sectors, among others. Their work cover from product design, consulting and engineering to actuations in the concept industry 4.0.
Regarding the railway sector, ALTRAN counts with a wide experience in train digitalization (information systems, apps, ERTMS, and signalling, predictive analysis and specialised in IoT).
In this way, ALTRAN offer information systems and apps for the transportation sector, data analysis and predictive maintenance, development of critic systems, railway evaluation and safety engineering.
Furthermore, the company is specialised in the innovative design of trains, both ways, mechanical and electrical, controls and manufacture 4.0 or in infrastructure projects.
In 2018, ALTRAN generated profits up to 2900 million of euros, with an employee workforce of 47000 and currently present in 30 countries.
RAILWAY INNOVATION HUB is the Spanish innovative cluster in railway mobility whose willing is to impulse the technology and the knowledge of the sector. To achieve this, the hub generates R&D collaborative projects, commercialises with know-how technology and impulse specialised services.
